Your Voice and Language Matters! 2. The Five Originals - Part 3

Hello everyone!

Greetings!

In the previous post, we explored on the most lengthiest civilization of human history, the Egyptian Civilization. Today, we are here to learn about our own civilization. Yes! The one civilization which made us what we are today, the Indus Valley Civilization.

Indus Valley Civilization (3300 B.C.E - 1300 B.C.E): The birth place of Dravidian or the Indo-Aryans. Harappa and Mohenjo-daro was called as the twin cities of Indus valley civilization. Sanskrit and Prakrit was their official language. They were known for their spiritual and scientific knowledge. The standardized weights and measurements, steel carving and metallurgy in scientific and Vedas in spiritual are still par excellence. This era was named the bronze age of mankind since their methods of trading, architecture and education are incomparable to any other civilizations.

Indus valley civilization was extended in areas from Dholavira, Kalibangan Rakhigarhi, Rupar, Lothal in modern day northwest India and from Afganistan to Pakistan.

The drastic growth of Indus valley civilization was happened in third millennium B.C.E. They used large clay bricks, steel, bronze and some other metals to crave their writings and pictures. They were the first people to write an encoded script, which cannot be deciphered without a proper key symbols. The four Vedas written in Sanskrit were believed to be framed in this period of time and later written during the end times of this civilization. The unique language Brahmi Tamil was also believed to be originated in this end period of our civilization.

Since most of the scripts of Indus valley civilization was encoded only a very little knowledge can be acquired with scripts other than Vedas. But for their architecture and scientific developments was later made necessary corrections and now we use them even more standardized. The people from Indus valley civilization and Egyptian civilization are likely to be migrated from the Sumerian civilization. According to the timeline, it is assumed that the Egyptian and Indus river valley civilizations co-existed in two different regions of our ancient world.

FYI: B.C.E. - Before Common Era or Before Current Era

This is where we originated from Indus valley civilization to Hindustan and then to India!

I always feel proud about our ancestor's major contribution to the world literature which is still followed in our daily life. We are always known for our culture and tradition and we always will be!
